"We love cornmeal mush for breakfast, sliced and fried served with syrup. Instead of plain water, I make a broth of smoked pork neck bones and use it along with the meat that comes off the bones. This gives the mush an extra tasty zip and adds a bit of protein. Give it a try."

"The meat mixture is a little soft but works well using a cookie scoop. Mine makes a ball about 1 and 1/2 inches.
After reading the reviews I increased the fresh grated nutmeg to about 1/2 tsp. maybe a bit more. Also added nutmeg to the sauce and a handful of sliced mushrooms. A perfect dish served over noodles and steamed broccoli on the sid..."

"This is the best banana bread ever. Dense but very moist. If you are lucky enough to have any left over, it gets better with age. I've made 3 loaves in 3 weeks. The time between was waiting for the bananas to become over ripe."

"WOW !! Easy, super moist and yummy. A perfect cake to take to the office, pot luck supper, bake sale, etc. All it really needs is a sifting of powdered sugar to make it pretty. No need to glaze or frost it. This one is a winner."

"Another review is not necessary but here it goes. I give it 10 stars. It is easy to make and takes almost no time to put together.I did use chicken thighs instead of breast and chicken broth instead of water. Less sugar and added 1-1/2 tsp of cornstarch to thicken the sauce. Also, used about 1 TBsp of fresh grated ginger instead of ground ginge..."

"Our family has used this recipe for years. It is a Jiffy cookbook recipe. The only difference is that the whole corn is not drained. It is super good with chopped Jalepeno peppers added, (canned are fine. A little chopped parsley also makes a nice presentation."

"Wonderful recipe. I made one change and one mistake.I added 1 tsp of lemon extract for a bit more zing. I should not have used already diced dates, as they are sugar coated and made the cookies a bit sweeter than I like. Perhaps you can cut the sugar in the recipe to compensate for that. The dough is very heavy so I used a cookie scoop. Mine has..."
