I like to try new things! I love baking especially and I like hunting for "authentic" recipes. When I have time, I prefer to make things from scratch because of the satisfaction I get from doing things myself. I love it when I make a new recipe and I can feel that it just "worked." I'll spend hours looking at recipes, and reading about methods. I like understanding what's going on behind the recipe.
I tend to be fairly lenient with my ratings. If the recipe worked without adjustments and I really liked it, I will give it 5 stars. I will only rate less than that if I followed all the directions precisely and it just didn't work. If I made changes to a recipe and I didn't like it then I won't rate it, even if I think it was the fault of the recipe.
I can understand why you would post a recipe you haven't made yet, but I'm not going to try it until you do! (or someone else does.)
Spaghetti! Pasta al Amatriciana is one of my favorite meals, served with artichokes when they're in season. I like home made desserts. Store-bought baked goods usually aren't worth the calories!
