    Reviewed Non-Dairy Caramel Sauce

"Outstanding! I also used vanilla creamer but I added a pinch of salt to cut the sweetness down a bit. It turned out very rich and had such a lovely, silky texture. The leftovers separated and hardened to a chewy consistency in the fridge but a quick zap in the microwave and it was perfect. I used it in place of the toffee sauce for a sticky toffee ..."

Reviewed Easy, Spectacular Freezer Ice Cream - No Machine Needed!

"It's INSANE what an amazing recipe this is! I have been on the hunt for licorice ice cream for years now and it finally occurred to me to just make my own. I tweaked the recipe ever so slightly by using only 8 oz of the condensed milk then adding 2 oz of molasses (next time I'll probably use half the molasses as it kind of dominated the flavor) and..."

Reviewed Indian Butter Chicken Slow Cooker

"For ease of recipe alone, this will definitely become a favorite in my household. Like everyone else had said, it does need a copious amount of salt but that is easy to add at the end. I didn't have any cardamom pods so I substituted a teaspoon of ground cardamom (which was plenty!) and it lent a cool sweetness to the end product. It was also a bit..."

    About Me

30-something dabbling in intuitive eating. I am an omnivore and will try anything, especially on a dare, hence my great love of the unusual. Favorite show is Bizarre Foods on the Travel Channel which pretty much sums it all up.

Remember, THERE ARE NO BAD FOODS! Take a moment to explore your food: prepare it hands on, smell it, savor it, share it, respect it. Do no deny yourself anything or lest you will crave it every second of everyday. Food is not only fuel to help your body function, but it is one of life's simple joys that should be experienced by everyone.

    Favorite Foods

Sushi, haggis, all fruits especially apples, peanut butter, all vegetables except zucchini, Vegemite, cheviche, teas of all kinds. I haven't meet a cheese or baked good I didn't like (although cheese isn't liking me lately :( ) I am on the hunt for the world's best jerky. Oddly enough, Jack Links original and turkey jerky are at the top of the list so far. I am also a licorice addict/aficionado. Among my favorites are: Good n Plenty (of course!) Finnska, Kookaburra, licorice caramels and Griotten.

List of "must trys": durian, khlea, lutefisk, Alaskan ice cream (fish mixed with whale fat, berries and served cold - yum!)
