"I started to soften the butter and realized that I had no icing sugar...so I used granulated sugar instead, whipped it for a little while and then added the vanilla. These were the BEST shortbread cookies I've ever made!!!"

"Delicious! I added chives in with the cream cheese and topped it with a cheddar/monteray jack mix and baked the mushrooms for 10 minutes. We ate about 1 1/2 each for a meal without side dishes. Quick and easy!"

"We had this for dinner tonight. After reading some of the other reviews, I doubled the recipe, added 3/4 Tb baking powder, 1/2 tsp cinnamon and 2 Tb Splenda. "This was so good that I didn't eat anything else on the table...and I'm not much of a fish lover! I used half cornmeal and half fish crisp (a powder batter mix available in Canada in place of half of the cornmeal and added two tablespoons of butter to the pan before broiling. I broiled for 5 minutes on each side. It was delicious!!!"
