Formerly "QueenVic" on RZ. Recently returned to Alaska after 13 years in the Pacific NW. Married by some great stroke of karma to my husband, Matt, we honeymooned onboard our houseboat ("Queen Vic") from Washington to Alaska, and boating is a favorite activity. We've since turned her in for a land boat, our RV, and we hope to enjoy a lot of new explorations with our family.
We're lucky enough to live in one of the most beautiful places on earth with our two bright and beautiful daughters, ages 10 and 5, and faithful dogs, Bob and Lola. The four of them keep us busy, and since somebody is always hungry I spend a lot of time on Recipezaar scouting exciting and nutritious recipes. Sure, even dog treats!
Latin and Asian cuisines
Fresh seafood
Just about any roasted vegetable
Anything lemon
Anything with berries
Some of my favorite recipes have come from the Silver Palate cookbooks and I would highly recommend them to anyone.
My sincere thanks to those of you who have taken the time to review my posted recipes. I appreciate the feedback and really enjoy hearing from you!
