"This is a very tasty bread. I've used Tastefully Simple's mix and this has a better texture for far less money. I used about 1/3 cup melted butter over the top, but 1/4 cup would do nicely. The Tecate beer added a nice beer-y taste."

Reviewed Starbucks Pumpkin Scones
"These were excellent! I used a scone pan and the result was perfect. The spice glaze is a must. I don't have an exceptionally sweet tooth so I might consider skipping the white glaze next time. DH does love sweets though so we will see!"

"Many of the HWB canning books I've read say to prepare extra lids and jars in case the recipe makes more than specified. Is it OK to 're-use' the extra lids that have been prepared but not used initially? Does the seal, once heated in preparation, lose its ability to re-seal?
