Australia - Victoria
I am from Czech republic living in Australia. My husband and I came here 2 years ago and we are very grateful we can stay and live our lifes here. I hope I can meet some new friends here.
Thanks to my work I had opportunity to travel and live in other countries....and let me tell you it is true when they say: "there is nothing like Australia"
In reacent years I've fallen in love with beading and jewelry making. Thanks to my niece (she introduced me to it and she is very good at it too). It is very relaxing.
Lately I got into digital photography and I love to take a pics of food and jewelry and learn all this...there is so much I want to know.
I am a bit gym freak I love to go to spinning classes and lifting weights, running, earobic....helps me to stay in shape.
English is my second language so excuse my errors or mistakes :)
I cook and bake from scratch. I like my pantry and freezer full. Just in case I need to "whip up something quick". I like my food simple and healthy.
I do my grocery shopping once a week. I look what is in season and buy fresh and local produce and plan my menu around it.
We don't do take aways and I avoid heavily processed food especially meals in the box.
One thing I could not live without would be a bread and butter but real bread with crusty top not the soft and sponge ones. I love salads, chicken, rack of lamb, pork, chocolate and sweets... I don't like shelfish like shrimps, clams, mussels and lobster although I enjoy fish. Probably it's because I didn't grow up around sea. I come from "potatoe country" :)
I only post recipes that I made and are so good that I want others to enjoy them.
I try to give every recipe honest review and my husband gets a voice in rating process.
