"Very tasty. I chose this recipe because I was looking for a recipe to make ginger syrup. I highly recommend using ginger syrup in any fruit punch (hot or cold, especially if you are having to cater for not-particularly-willing non-drinkers (e.g. the driver amongst your visitors. Try it with hot apple juice in colder weather - fantastic."

"Very, very good.I made a double quantity and baked it in mini muffin tins (the silicon ones, ending up with around 50 mini cakes - 3 days later and there are only a handful left, despite there only being a few of us to eat them. The biscuit barrel is even harder to resist when you know you can pick up a mouthful or two so easily."

"Walnuts were good, could barely taste the coffe and I had complaints (imagine that! that they weren't anywhere near sweet enough. I'd recommend at least doubling or tripling the coffee, and adding way more sugar - the amount is up to you but don't forget that you will need to counteract both the orginal non-sweetness and the extra bitterness that..."
