"I am rating this three 3/5 stars not because of the taste, but because of the directions. I read through them and thought the 25-30 minute baking time was excessive. I made the batter and poured it into the muffin liners (dark tin and placed the tin in the oven. After about ten minutes, I started to smell "browning." I opened the oven door and..."

"First off, let me say to all those who give so-so or poor reviews to recipes that they have not tried before as written and make significant changes to ingredients or execution-don't write a review. You are reviewing a different recipe. Create a page with your version instead.
There...that said, I LOVE this. I have made this two New Year's Da..."

"This is great! I was afraid it would be overly salty because of the pickle juice so I just added pepper. I ended up needing to add salt, but did it after I served it. I could not tell whether I needed to peel the potatoes or not. I made mine with peeled potatoes."

"The seasoning was good, but I added 1/2 t of Chinese Five Spice Powder and 1/2 t of salt. It seemed more like the Ramen seasoning that way. Like another reviewer said, I used 1 t of the blend to a packet of Ramen and it was great. I did use the basic seasoning blend and made fried rice using cold steamed white rice, soy sauce. a scrambled egg an..."

"This is great! Excellent point about not draining on paper towels. I have made this with Mr. Brown's seasoning and again with Sylvia's Chicken Rub.
Both are excellent. Sylvia's is "brighter" with a hint of citrus and herb whereas Mr. Brown's is "smokier" from the paprika. An excellent recipe that travels well for tailgating!"
