    About Me

    I work with words and a lot of deadlines. I find cooking both creative and productive, something I do out of necessity but where I can bring a flair to the ordinary, add some "oomph" and earn kudos. I love that my teens are beginning to show an interest in preparing dishes from scratch and using their imaginations. Thankfully, we all enjoy a wide variety of tastes!

    Favorite Foods

    Atlantic Lobster is my top fave, mainly because I don't ever get enough of it now that I live so far away from my native Nova Scotia unless I choose to pay top dollar. Nothing fancy, just steamed and served with melted butter and lemon. Heaven.

    I am famous for my soups, muffins, desserts (particularly my Mom's strawberry shortcake) and omlettes.

    My favourite restaurant is Halifax, Nova Scotia's, Five Fisherman.
