My daughter and I live in the rural yet urban-ish area of Chilliwack in B.C.'s beautiful Fraser Valley with 2 whippets; Cleo & Ginger, a siamese cat named Coco and Bosco and ex-racing greyhound from Florida.
I have been a nurse for 32 years. I work a local senior's home.
I volunteer every spring with the Canadian Cancer Society.
I like "quick" and easy meals especially on my work days. I often make casseroles and one-dish meals on my work nights.
My favourite cookbook is Harrowsmith and the Company's Coming series.

I seem to have a knack for making gravy and I always have the honour of preparing it at all our family feasts.
My apple cheesecake gets rave reviews, but my favourite meal to cook is "Indian" the yogurt and tomato based curries are delicious!
I love to experiment and try new recipes.....Hmmm guess that's why I'm here!!
Hard to say which is my favourite restaurant - I'd guess it would be Dim Sum. I also like Greek, Italian, Seafood and Japanese/Korean/Sushi, actually there's not too much I don't like.
