Reviewed Ellinikos Lemoni Patatas (Greek Lemon Potatoes)

"I think I just had a spiritual experience eating these potatoes. They were incredibly good and so easy to make. I didn't marinate them and I don't think they needed it. So, so good. The tartness, the creaminess, the herbiness, the saltiness. Mmmmm"

    About Me

I live in Townsville, North Queensland, Australia - the tropics! I am a naturopath and I love food. I am vegetarian and love playing with different ingredients to create tasty meals to convert meat-eaters ;o) (so far six people over the last 7 years or so!)

I love my work but also working in the garden, reading and learning new things and meeting fascinating people.

There are so many cookbooks I could name, but I have to say that my falling-apart scrapbook that I've been compiling since I was a little girl has to be my favourite cookbook.

I'd like to change the world for the better. That's all. So I live my life consciously and lead by example.

I'd love to be a food reviewer some day (as a vegetarian representative).

Pet peeves...lots and lots. They change daily!! (But there are lots of pet loves too!)

    Favorite Foods

Chocolate - real, hardcore, bitter, smooth chocolate.
    Corn
    Jerusalem artichokes
    Rocket (aragula)
    Globe artichokes
    Chutneys and relishes
    mushrooms
    apples
    passionfruit
    mango
    banana
    pineapple
    red papaya

Fragrant foods such as Indian, Moroccan, Mediterranean and Thai.
I love cooking beans creatively, vegetables of all sorts and I love baking biscuits and cakes but I rarely do because I just eat them.

I'm pretty famous for my dairy-free bircher muesli, whose recipe has been transported around the world by my clients. Also, my vegetarian dinner parties have an enthusiastic following.

There are so many foods I just love and often it depends on how things are prepared. I love making 'challenging' foods yummy.
