    Reviewed Beef Stroganoff

"I thought I'd try this instead of my tried and true recipe, thinking it would produce a superior creaminess. Unfortunately, we found this recipe quite bland, and couldn't even finish it. It's a great idea, but I think it needs some tinkering with the spices."

    Reviewed Chicken or Turkey Tetrazzini

"Terrific recipe to use up leftover turkey! I had very few fresh ingredients on hand, so I had to substitute dried minced onion, and I used 2 cans of mushrooms. I left out the red pepper and garlic powder because I didn't have any. I used "Mexican" shredded cheese and added 1/8 c sour cream and 1 T cooking sherry. I served this dish with a green sal..."

"This is a fantastically easy dish that you just throw in the crock pot and go. i serve this over rice which soaks up all the delicious sauce this recipe makes!"

    Reviewed Welsh Eggs

"We really liked this dish. I cooked it a tad too long and the yolks were more at soft boil stage, which is a little more done than I prefer. My boyfriend loved this and so did I. It was substantial without being too much. Excellent cheesy flavor. I'll be having this one again."

    About Me

I'm an Arkansas native but spent my teen-aged years in Memphis. I married a Marine when I was 17, and we have four wonderful sons. We divorced after 17 years, and my sons are now all grown. In May of 2006, I was blessed with a precious grandson, Mateo. I still love to try, and create, new recipes, but these days I have no one to be my guinea pig! I LOVE music, reading and bargain hunting. For fun, I love to play board games, but I don't get much of an opportunity since all my playing partners left home!

    Favorite Foods

Macaroni and cheese; chicken-fried steak, any dish with nuts in it! I LOVE watching Rachael Ray on Food Network and have a few of her cookbooks, but more often than not, I revert to the tried and true recipes from my married years. My boys ask for my spaghetti and my enchiladas when they come home. At work, I'm often asked to bring my spinach dip, or a chocolate dessert called "Four-Layer Delight". My favorite restaurant? Hmmm when I have money, Macaroni Grill or The Melting Pot, but mostly I stick with Cracker Barrel!
