"Followed the recipe the first I made this, sauce too thin, but flavorful. Made this again tonight using only 1/2 cup of chicken broth, 1 tsp. butter, and 1 tsp. cornstarch . . perfect! More pronounced flavor and thicker sauce . . we enjoyed it! Also added baby carrots, delish!!"

"Wow, a delicious yet lightweight banana bread . . not heavy like most banana bread recipes out there! A keeper!! Not only was the flavor one 'to cry for', but the smell throughout the house while baking was amazing. Thank you, Juenessa!"

"Absolutely delicious! Four stars from me, though, too much water! I have made this several times since the first attempt, using only two cups water vs. one quart as the recipe calls for, an extra potato (all large, and three slices real bacon, diced up. Perfect!! With these adjustments, I consider the recipe a keeper!"

"Delicious!! I agree with another reviewer, 4 cups of fruit is perfect. I followed the recipe with one exception, I used Splenda vs the sugar due to my husband's diabetes. Baked the pie at 400 for 15 minutes, then reduced to 350 for about 25 minutes, or until the pie filling starts to bubble over. Awesome served warm with a scoop of vanilla i..."

"A winner of a recipe! Made this for a potluck gathering, didn't last ten minutes on the table. Wouldn't change a thing in the recipe, delicious as is."

"Very good!! The longer it simmered, the thicker it got . . full of flavor! I omitted the celery, and put a bit more brown sugar into the mix . . a keeper for sure. I have made this a few times, and have decided to double the recipe from now on. Leftovers are even more delicious than the original serving! Thank you, MizzNezz for another great ..."

"Like others have posted, smells fantastic, but rather bland and somewhat greasy. I just made it a second time using better quality of lamb stew, chunks of potatoes vs. diced, adding one clove garlic (minced to the onions, one cup water/one cup vegetable broth, and one tablespoon flour/one tablespoon water to thicken. Totally "oh!" for our taste..."

"THIS IS SO TENDER and DELICIOUS, full of flavor. I double the amount of chicken/beef broth and wine, and thicken a bit with 1 T. cornstarch and 1 T. water. Also, I add in cut up chunks of potatoes after the first hour of roasting. A "to cry for" meal. Thank you, Steve!"

""To cry for" delicious! It's fall-apart moist/tender, and full of flavor. I've made this several times now, using my cast iron skillet/lid . . wonderful! The peppered country gravy (I used McCormick's packaged was great, but not necessary, IMO. I use one 14 oz. can chicken broth vs. one cup so that I can make gravy from the broth/drippings. This ..."

"The marinade is fantastic, making for a moist and delicious pork roast. I followed the instructions to a "T"; totally spot on! Served with roasted asparagus and mashed potatoes. Dear husband says to give this recipe 8 stars! :D"
