    About Me

My great-grandparents and grandparents came to America from Italy and Spain in the late 19th century. I was born and raised in the Bronx; and, I worked there for 35 years as an educator, retiring 10 years ago from my last position as a High School Principal.

I'm a married grandma who, in her next life, wants to come back as an IRON CHEF!!! With my ancestry, the love of food is in my blood! I have over 200 cookbooks on all imaginable topics. But, I really prefer to create! Just pull stuff out of the fridge and pantry and make it my own... The downside is, I can rarely recreate one of my original masterpieces... But, thankfully, I'm blessed with a husband who eats whatever is in front of him... Wink
