I was born a middle child in a large family. My Mom and Dad both cooked yummy foods and I have acquired a taste for the good stuff. Now, I cook for my husband, son, and grandson. I really love to browse the old cookbooks that you can find the "from scratch" recipes. My passion is my love of life, family and our creator.
My pet peeve is noise generated from our autos, car alarms, freeways. I like the quieter noises of nature, the leaves in the trees, birds chirping and the smell of something good thats' cooking !
I would have to say my homemade macaroni and cheese. The dishes I am famous for is Green Chili and Chicken Enchilada, my Clam Chowder, and Strawberry Cheesecake Supreme.
I really enjoy the recipes from the south (USA), and I like going to the "Cracker Barrel" to eat.
The first memory of food was an orange, and I love a fresh, matured one. They make me smile. And potatoes, don't forget the potatoe !!!
