"This is my favorite-ever Gnocchi recipe. Period. This is also perfect baby food. The baby cries in her chair when I make these because she just cannot wait. She loves them and says "UMMM" when she eats these with ANY sauce.
If you're failing, don't over mix the dough, and don't over handle it. When they're made properly, they'll look imperfect. This is OK. Under-knead rather than over-knead. I prefer the dough to be a little too wet too. If it's getting too easy to handle I start worrying about how good they're going to turn out.
All great gnocchi come from these first four ingredients. You can get clever once you get this down. Definitely 100% worth the effort. The entire and extended family enjoyed this. "

Reviewed Parker's Beef Stew
"It was OK. Her show makes me salivate daily and this was the first recipe of hers that we made.
Of course I will tell you why; it was without a doubt because of the insane amount of rosemary. I don't know where Ina's getting her rosemary but apparently it's NOT from the rosemary god we got ours from. Wow was it TOO MUCH! It was like eating good meat that had been sprayed with essential oil.
So, err on the side of less rather than more rosemary so that this otherwise outstanding stew won't become Rosemary's beef stew.
Do note that after it was made, the beef stew was a definitely 1-star dish and inedible. However, the day after it was soo much better; it greatly improved in the refrigerator overnight. I still had to cut the rosemary a bit somehow so I added a bunch of old barley that was going to _ in the cabinet. My little one year old girl LOVED it, she ate all of hers and some of her mine! But she liked it at any point perhaps her "taste" is better than mine."

Reviewed Gina's Shrimp Scampi with Angel Hair Pasta
"The sauce is spot on for flavor. ANYTHING would be good in this sauce. You might try to go easier on the lemon but I love it.
But you GOTTA do something to these shrimp before you cook them because they taste pretty bland esp. with this rocking sauce. The shrimp kinda go kinda blaaaaah in it. I read that someone else marinated them first with success and when I do this again I'm gonna look up a real good marinade. Since I'm having an issue with the shrimp and the recipe is for shrimp scampi, I'm generous in giving this four stars. If the shrimp had better flavor this would be an easy five stars. And that's because the sauce is definitely off-the-hook. You go, Gina Neely.
PS I, like the another reviewer, doubled most of the ingredients EXCEPT the butter and we had plenty of sauce. But DON'T forget to let it reduce more. Also I used wheat capellini and my sweet little husband didn't even notice... haha!! Sucker! He always complains about whole wheat pasta!"
