Originaly from Austria i moved to Iceland in 2002 after a life long longing for this country i felt at home at once and now it is the place where i belong. I am living with my wonderful husband in a nice, bright flat in the subburb of our capital, Reykjavik. I love to cook and eat healthy and i mainly use whole grain. I do not use any ready made mixes and i try to keep the food i cook close to the ingrediants i used.
I am an elementary school teacher but i work in a kindergarden now and i actually prefer that field.
Besides cooking and though especially baking, i like photography, knitting, swimming, long walks, all kind of sports, animals and nature among much more.
This was at least as much fun as it was work: Thank you team!
My favorite game so far:

Having fun!

I am very fond of plain and simple foods, natural ingrediants and i mostly cook good and natural food. I like indian curries, mexican beans, japanese sushi, moroccan couscous, austrian strudl and swedish kladdkaka. I just love seasonal food and i experiment a lot. One of my worst habbits is that i can not stick to a recipe but one of my best is that i make anything to my own.
I give 5 stars for something which was perfect in ingrediants and preparation look, smell, taste and mood.
4 stars: only 4 out of the 5 things above were perfect.
3 stars: only 3 out of 5 things above were met and this means that this needs some kind of aprovel. The idea was good but it did for some reason not work out (for me).
2 stars: i made this but it was not edible.
1 star: usually i will not give this. I doupt i would chose a recipe that would deserve this at any time.
