I love to cook for others and entertain. I enjoy creating new recipes from old ones, kind of reviving the basic or standard recipes I grew up with and giving them my own twist or punch. I own my own business, I'm a personal chef and private/personal culinary instructor. Daily life and the people I meet inspire me to cook and create. I'll meet someone and after getting to know them I'll make something especially for them inspired by their personality. My grandchildren's imaginations are also an inspiration. While making mud pies they come up with some inventive creations, we then try in the kitchen.
Anything Italian, especially fresh pastas with simple tomato sauces or alfredo or grilled steak seasoned with only salt an pepper.For dessert it has to be creme brulee or chocolate mousse. In the summer I like to grill as much as possible and use lots of fruits and vegetables. In the winter it's soups, stews, and chili's with fresh bread or tortillas. I love wine, both drinking it and cooking with it.Check out Acres of Land Winery, online, they're in KY. they're wines are wonderful.
