    About Me

    I have a catering and event planning background. In a "former life" I  owned and operated a gourmet cookie store. Now I wear several hats. First and foremost, I am a mom to two great kids. Secondly, I operate a fun business from home helping people celebrate and get together.

    I have been cooking for many years but lately I have been learning to cook with less fat, low or no sugar and little or no flour. I feel like a new person!

    I look forward to sharing and learning!

    Favorite Foods

    I was born and raised in the U.S. Virgin Islands where I learned to cook and bake from my mom! I learned the catering business in Maryland working for a high end caterer. My tastes are quite varied - everything from curry to foi gras, ribs to petite fors... you never know what I will come up with for an event. These days I am all about convenience! Nothing beats making a splash without a huge effort!
