    I cooked professionally for about 25 years and now I'm retired and enjoy being home and making cookies for the grandchildren and other family members.

    Favorite Foods

    There are many dishes I enjoy making. Right now I'm having fun "playing" with fried mushrooms, zucchini, okra and cheese using a beer batter for that wonderful puffed appearance. I've learned that you definatly want total control over the temperature of the oil.
    Favorite resturant? hmmmm.... I now live in a town that is so small there are no chains.... only locals!! But I do love to go into the "city" and eat at Chili's, Applebee's or my favorite "Lone Star Steak House".
