    About Me

Even though there are a multitude of different cultures here in Hawaii, it leans towards a predominantly Asian-based cuisine. I usually find the food to be on the bland side, such as Japanese, Filipino, Chinese, and Hawaiian styles of cooking. I prefer to expand my tastes beyond the norm of what is served here. Whenever I meet someone who has a different culture of cooking I'm very interested in trying it out.

    Favorite Foods

I love spicy and hot foods, from Indian food and Thai food to down-south chicken wings drenched in fire sauce. I have been introduced to a bit of Carribbean, Cuban, and some Haitian-style dishes, and love it. My overall favorites so far are Indian and southern soul food, though its hard to come by down here. I guess I just love food that is not quite bland but packed with flavor and spices.
