Reviewed Kittencal's Italian Breaded Baked Parmesan Pork Chops
"Tried this tonight with boneless sirloin chops.... it was very good.... although I had ALOT of bread crumb mixture left... with all chops getting a generous coating. I also pan fried to brown each side and put in glass 9x13 to bake... next time I think I would put a cooling rack underneath.. the bottoms got soggy.... Other than my 'preferences' ..."

Reviewed Scalloped Potatoes
"I cook ALOT... and tried this tonight... my DH loved it.. I... didn't...to me it lacked flavor... it tasted too floury (if that's a word).. I cooked the rue long enough and used a mix of 1% milk and 1/2 and 1/2....and it seemed to take FOREVER in the oven...... I am a 911 dispatcher/jailer. I LOVE my job. Even though I work rotating shifts, nights to days and weekends and holidays, I don't know any different. I have done this for 23 years. To balance out my life, about 10-15 hrs a week, I cook at our local golf course. Sounds weird, but its very relaxing, getting paid for something I love to do.. I am married and have two daughters, 20 and 17 and a step son 17.
My Mother just passed away, and I am sooo thankful that I learned her 'style' of cooking. Everything I am today, I owe to her and my Grandmother. Lately I have been trying new and different recipes and my family is pleased. I guess I am not happy unless i am cooking something and sharing it with others.
I enjoy golfing, cooking, snowmobiling and fishing. Although time doesn't allow many of these things, other than cooking...I do enjoy them when I get the chance.
I will eat most anything.
