"Well, I am not from the South and haven't been there either, but I love iced tea and was wondering how to make a good one. This recipe is it. I used 6 Red Rose tea bags and one cup of sugar. I also added half a cup of fresh squeezed lemon juice. Really tasty and refreshing! Thanks!"

"Delicious! Made just as written, except I used most of a bag of Ghirardelli semi-sweet chips instead of a chopped bar. Also, I have no thermometer so just eyeballed the simmering and figured it was done. I served the whipped cream on the side and didn't sprinkle any chocolate. "This was very good. I changed a bunch of things: I didn't have parsley or fennel seeds, so I left those out. I used "meatloaf mix" (beef, pork, and veal and I made meatballs out of it and simmered those in the sauce instead of just cooking the meat in a skillet. I didn't have italian seasoning either, so I just added extra basil and oregano an..."

"These are really good! I used to make these in college all the time, but with mayo instead of mustard and added a few potato chips. Excellent, though I got strange looks and comments. ;- Also try peanut butter and bacon sandwiches if you haven't already. Those rock too!"
