I am about to be 34 years old and I live in Western Massachusetts, USA. I love to cook and I love to eat! My tasters include my friends as well as my mom occasionally.
I like to cook almost anything. I don't like much seafood (the exceptions are shrimp and fried calimari) I also am not a great fan of lima beans, artichokes and brussel sprouts. And you won't catch me eating innards, organs, or "specialty meats." I also have to say that I am not a big fan of Thai food because of the extensive use of fish sauce and coconut milk (though I do like coconut, figure that one out). I am more of a "savory" person. I like sweets (especially chocolate) but only occasionally. Even though I eat (and enjoy) meat, I really like tofu and "fake meat." I am very interested in "clone" recipes that reproduce fatty favorites with less fat, sodium, sugar, etc. Breakfast foods (usually eggs and meats as well as potatoes) are among my favorites, along with burgers, sandwiches, traditional American, Mexican, Asian and Italian cuisines. I love spicy foods also. I am always interested in recipes and ideas that make healthy, cheap and delicious foods (quick is a nice plus). I don't have any formal training, but I have an avid interest in cooking and food and have done a lot of research (and practice).
