"A recipe "to die for" should be bursting with flavor. Particularly in the roast itself. I also added potatoes, carrots, onions, and mushrooms. This recipe had such great reviews, it's what actually got me to go out and buy my very first Crock-Pot! I used a 5 lb. roast in my new 6 qt slow cooker. Used all the seasonings since it was a large one. Pr..."

"Phenomenal! I just made the meat part and served it up on fluffy flat bread, romaine, onions, tomatoes and improvised tzaztiki sauce and it was awesome! I made the patties square then sliced them into 4 strips so it was really gyro-like. I'm making this again and again. Thanks for this incredible recipe !"

"This is a phenomenal recipe. The garlic and guava combination is a beautiful thing. I quadruple the garlic (at least. Be sure to use white WINE vinegar and do not substitute with just plain vinegar to have the perfect tangy/sweet balance. Make extra salsa and get a bag of tortilla chips!!!"

"Two things to make this dish even better... Add (Al Fresco brand roasted garlic chicken sausage (of course just about any sausage would work and use less pasta or make more sauce. As is tends to be a bit dry. The flavors are perfect though. A real crowd pleaser."

"My wife is quite picky for mushrooms so I halved the quantity just for her. After one bite, she said she'd definitely like it with more. Because of previous reviewers who wanted more sauce, I used 3/4 lb. of pasta (I used twists and it was just perfect! I also used the canned artichoke hearts which worked well. Quick and easy crowd pleaser."

"I would add a bit more salt next time. For some reason, my cheese sauce did not look as creamy and thick as it did on the show. I also cooked it about 15 minutes longer. The thought of underdone poultry scares the $%&* out of me. Awesome taste!"

"Amazing dessert! Actually, it made a nice breakfast the next morning too. This recipe will truly impress and is fun to make. My mistake was filling the pears with the mascarpone before they were completely cooled. I went to transfer them onto a nicer dish and out came the melted filling! Having a proper apple corer is essential too. Try this one. ..."
