    "I am a NC gal myself, very good recipe. Next time I may grate the apples instead for easier slicing. I also added a glaze (just for looks, the cake doesn't need itCaramel Glaze- 1 cup brown sugar, 1 TBSP. Butter, 1/4 cup milk- cook for 10 min.-cool slightly- drizzle on cake"
