"Outstanding! We really enjoyed your recipe...didn't change a thing, made it as directed. If it would have been just my hubby and me, we would have kicked it up a bit on the cajun spices, but it worked out just fine with our dinner partner! Thanks so very much for making our New Year's dinner so special!"

Reviewed Apricot Orange Glazed Carrots With Cranberries

"We're serving this for our Christmas Eve family dinner! Tried it with freh cranberries...not a good idea, it turned the carrots red. Still tasted wonderful, but lacked in the presentation on the plating (should have known better, but had to try!)! Will be going with your dried cranberry this time, really liked the taste and the look on your pics! T..."

"Absolutely Divine! Used medium sized ramekins for individual servings. The only thing I will change when I make it again tonight, is that I will "kick it up" spice wise, only because of our taste for a bit more. It was luscious...thanks for sharing! BTW: had a bit left over and used them in an egg dish the next morning. Worked extremely well and di..."

"Great alternative to a standard marinade I've been using for decades. It really is outstanding and our family and guests really liked it as well. Next time, I'll leave it in the marinade a bit longer. Thanks for sharing!"

    About Me

I live in Clarkson Valley, Mo., am married to my best friend, Bob. We have many things in common including cooking. We even collect cookbooks and yes, we actually use them. We like to experiment with various recipes, herbs and spices. We're always looking for menus to serve at church, Ronald McDonald House and others.

    Favorite Foods

I'm afraid I don't have a favorite dish to cook. I rather enjoy all foods and all dishes. I guess I'm into food presentation as much as taste. My favorite restaurants are local types, mostly family owned, but some of the finest meals I've ever had are served in our own home.
