    Handle
     |  By katia

"Good recipe. Though be warned this took me longer than 30 minutes. Almost 45. I thought it would be quick and easy but didn't realise I'd have to stand there stirring for so long. It took quite some time for the semolina to thicken and I admit I didn't wait until it started pulling away from the pot completely. Otherwise a good dish."

"So sorry but this didn't work for me. Once out of the oven it was rather stodgy but edible though not very enjoyable. With 4/5ths left I thought possibly (like brownies it might be better the next day. Big mistake. It was as hard as a rock and I had to throw out the remainder."

"Such an EASY and quick recipe! Great results. We cut down the sugar in the peach mixture but we found it very, very sweet. And this is coming from a background of being used to incredibly sweet south african desserts. I would cut down on half the sugar called for, in the batter and the peach mixture. I find it surprising no one has mentioned the..."

"Yum recipe. The zucchini cooks crazy quick so be sure to watch it or it will be over cooked. Our only needed 10-15minutes in the oven and the inside was soft and delicious. The breadcrumbs on the outside weren't as crunchy as I had imagine it to be, but still delicious non the less!"

"A delicious recipe, very much for the super super sweet toothed. South African's love their desserts very, very sweet so if you're not used to that much richness I'd cut back on the syrup amount. I didn't find the cake too dry with only half the amount of syrup and it was very rich with the full amount. A great vinegar/baking soda recipe. I'd say ..."

"LOVE this recipe. The curry powder in the sauce is genius! I use pork mince instead of chicken (didn't have any and green beans instead of carrots. Halved the recipe but added 25% extra sauce. And also added 2 cloves of garlic and a thumb sized amount of minced ginger when cooking the meat also. Oh forgot to add I cooked the meat in a splash of s..."

"Great, quick and easy recipe! Was in the oven for around 20 minutes then I added the ingredients and it was in the oven for another 15. The pizza base wasn't as crunchy as I'd like but my partner prefers it that way. I guess the closest thing I could describe the pizza base to is a dense pancake? I also subbed 1/3c of ground flaxseed + 2/3c of flo..."

"How can Brie, Filo pastry and jam go wrong? I used Raspberry jam since I had no cranberry on hand and it was delish. Although I did have a problem with too much oil coming from the pastry and the cheese, not sure how to fix it. Makes the bottom and sides very oily and soggy."
