    About Me

Married, Mother of 2, Grandma of 3.
Enjoy camping, gardening, fishing.hunting & just being outdoors. Love having family over to visit. Enjoy cooking for others. Especially desserts. Like canning anything, especially the produce from our local orchards and farms and our garden . Am not a big fan of BBQing, so I leave that to Hubby. Pet Peeves ?? - I think it is unfair for people to 'tweek' (more like overhaul) someone's recipe and then give it a poor review...Just not fair to the poster!

    Favorite Foods

Basic tried and true foods. Not fancy or complicated. My favorite food has to be meat ! Love the stuff. I like to try new recipes but am not very daring when it comes to different or unfamiliar foods. Love recipes that can be prepared after work and are scaled down to two or three servings since we are empty nesters. We live in a rural area with the nearest supermarket about 40 miles away. I don't like to eat out very ofter so not having restaurants around is not a big deal. My Mom used to always say that there isn't a picture of me when I am not in the kitchen !
