excellent! My grits started clumping when I poured them in....not sure how to avoid that.

Reviewed Cauliflower With Tangy Mustard Sauce

    Thursday, Nov 20, 2014 on

Perfection! I could not get enough of this stuff! I actually used Veganaise with great results. For the mustard I used a nice wholegrain Tanhauser Ale Mustard from a local brewery (and used more than the recipe called for - and I';m glad I did). I topped ours with just a little shredded cheddar, but next time I am just going to skip the c...

I thought this was excellent. I did add some feta - a little goes a long way with this recipe - and I should have used kalamata olives instead of feta and kept it vegan. I will definitely make this again. I also think Braggs could be a substitute for the champagne vinegar. We ate this with a side of roast broccoli for a delish vegetarian meal...

This is delish! I used just over 1/2 cup of mayo and that was enough. Instead of lemon juice I used some lemon pepper. And instead of Mrs. Dash, I used Old Bay Seasoning. I also put in a little dried dill. This is super good and am happy I found this recipe. I am going to serve it with fresh tomatoes. I also this would be perfect to eat as...

Reviewed Shrimp with Lime, Cilantro and Tomatoes

    Friday, Aug 29, 2014 on

I thought this was really good. Next time I will add some jalapeno or red pepper to spice it up a bit. I actually ran my "salsa" through the food processor and then added a little extra chopped tomato for texture after that. I just cooked the shrimp in the marinade instead of frying and it worked fine! I would actually thicken the sauce up ne...

Reviewed Cook Bacon in Microwave or Frypan

    Thursday, May 22, 2014 on

II used the microwave method - and please tell me exactly why did I not try this sooner??? WOW was this easy. And no mess! Had thick sliced bacon so I cut it in half to cook a little faster and it was done perfectly in 5 minutes. Probably the only way I will cook bacon into the future. THANKS for posting, Pat :)"

Moist? Yes. Tasty? Yes. Easy? Yes. Score! I put mine on a rack on top of my cast iron baker which I filled with carrots and broccoli to roast as a side. After 35 minutes on 400 everything was cooked perfectly. I agree that you need some sort of a dipping sauce if you put on the breadcrumbs with a heavy hand (as I do), however next time I ...

I switched this up a bit, but i think it was GREAT!!! First of all, I cut the recipe in half which made 5 nice size sandwiches. I added 1 grated carrot (extra veggie oomph). Also took the suggestion of others and subbed out about 1/3 of the tomato sauce with ketchup. I also added a couple shakes of cinnamon (GREAT addition), subbed Stevia for...

Reviewed Wild Arugula-Quinoa Salad With Cherries

    Friday, Mar 7, 2014 on

Absolutely delightful lunch! I didn';t mix all the ingredients together, just put the arugula on top, then some red quinoa over that and topped it with some walnuts and some dried tart cherries (instead of the other kind that the recipe called for). I drizzed dressing over the salad. For the dressing, I left out the honey and used a lemon ...

    Reviewed Microwave Croutons

    Thursday, Mar 6, 2014 on

The flavor of croutons is absolutely perfect! I used smoked paprika and was glad I did. My bread was a combo of some asiago and some lemon/oregano. Will definitely try this again. Thanks. UPDATE: Made these again today with some rosemary bread and wanted them to top a Caesar salad. That said, I didn';t want them terribly seasoned so I ...

Delish! We went to a tapas bar last evening and got their anchovies. . .but each only wanted a couple bites which meant leftover high quality lemon marinated anchovies. They were screaming to be made into Caesar Dressing!!! I just tasted the dressing and it';s outstanding! I will use it tonight on a salad for sure. Thanks for this keeper...

WOW did I love this one! I served it atop a "Greek" salad of romaine and mixed greens, red onion, green pepper, feta cheese, cucumber and grilled shrimp. FABULOUS meal, I must say! Made for Family Picks for ZWT6. Thanks, little! UPDATE: So I made this again last week, using veggie broth instead of chicken broth. We had it on salad one night...

Awesome! Marinated my chops in Andreas sauce for 24 hours. Doubled the sauce. Used lemon pepper instead of salt and pepper. Will make this again! The sauce would be great atop asparagus if you have vegetarian folks at your dinner table (just don';t stir the sauce in the meat pan)."

YUM! I have never made black eyed peas this way, so it was a treat. I subbed out 2 cups of the chicken stock for some leftover ham juices that I had frozen from our Christmas honey baked ham.
