    About Me

Retired gardener, cooks anything, interested in whole foods, organic meats, home grown food, making chewy bread. One of my favorite cook books is CookWise by Corriher, and I love Alton Brown. I like the science of cooking, and am always playing with flavors and textures. A pet peeve of mine is that person we all know who croons about home cooking but won't put forth the effort to do it!!!

    Favorite Foods

Pizza-in healthy ways, peppers, fish, fresh tomatoes and yellow squash, lemon anything, hot and spicy, basil, pesto, pecan pie without Karo syrup
