"I'm not a big fan of sloppy joes, but I thought these were excellent. Much better than the sloppy joe sauce from a can. I'll definitely use this recipe again."

"This was fantastic! I omitted the chopped onion and green peppers because the chunky salsa I used seemed to have plenty of those in it. This makes a lot of food, so it's a great recipe if you've got lots of people to feed. I took dreamgoddess' suggestion and put half into a freezer container to use later. I'm sure I'll be using this recipe frequen..."

"I made this for the Zaar Cookbook Tag game. I'm not rating it because it didn't turn out well. Since others have had success with this recipe, I suspect there might have been a problem with my ingredients. I made the recipe exactly as written with ingredients I bought this week. The pie had a bad alcohol taste to it. I think it had something to do..."

"My family really enjoyed this casserole. I used cream of chicken soup as some reviewers had suggested. I added some chunky salsa to the first layer. One pound of ground beef wasn't enough for my casserole dish, so next time I'm going to use 1 1/2 pounds of meat."

"We really liked this pie. It was like eating apple crisp pie. I used a 9- inch deep dish pie shell, and three large Granny Smith apples were enough to fill the it. This is a great recipe to use if you have little kids who like to help in the kitchen. My sons helped roll the apple slices in the crumb mixture."

"Great soup for a cold and rainy fall day. I made the soup as directed using 3 cups of sharp cheddar cheese. The thing I liked most about this recipe is that it makes a nicely textured soup. In the past, I've found most cheese soup recipes to be too runny. I used 2 medium size carrots and celery stalks and will use one or two more of each the next ..."
