New Topic Question:Versatile Layered Polenta in Cooking Q & A

    "Versatile Layered Polenta

    Hi Sofie,

Tried your recipe and it came out great! I didn't post a review yet because I am wondering if there is a typo.

For the polenta part you list 3 1/2 cups of liquid and 3 cups of cornmeal. The recipe I've used before calls for 3 ..."

"I;m not giving this a star rating because I changed several things so I don;t think that would be fair. (I used canned beans and canned tomatoes and subbed more broth for the wine.) However, I wanted to make a couple comments.

I thought there was not nearly enough crumb topping for the amount of beans. When I saw that..."

    Reviewed Apple Cinnamon Liqueur

"This was my first attempt at making liqueur and it came out great. I used 2 cups of honey instead of sugar and water. "I guess I'm in the minority, but I could not get this to strain. I kept changing filters and literally let it sit for hours, and it just wouldn't go through. Great idea, but not worth the hassle."

New Topic missing recipe sifter in Customer Support

"The recipe sifter has disappeared from the Food.com web page on my computer. I checked the FAQ and saw where the button was supposed to be, but it's no longer there. I have tried using Firefox, Internet Explorer and Chrome, but it makes no difference. Any advice?"

New Topic Thanksgiving dessert suggestions - with lots of caveats in Thanksgiving

"Hi all. I am, as usual, hosting a large Thanksgiving dinner this year. We will have the usual - roast turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, salad, green beans, pumpkin muffins... I can't be too creative with the menu or people will squawk.

For dessert I plan to serve Choco..."
