"I'm overdue in writing in on this one but I wanted to say that this has become a staple in my house! It's my other half's most requested dish and I've made it for him over and over. I omit the tomatoes but vary the other veggies as you suggest. I often add potatos to make it extra hearty. I highly recommend the recipe to others. This is a keeper!"

"Great! This was even more than I'd hoped for! It was super quick and easy to put together (and mostly things that I always have on hand. I added the plumped raisins as one other person did, and also finished with a sugar layer for a crunchy top. Fantastic! Looks and tastes much more serious than it is to bake!"

"Thanks Alan! After all the holidays settled down, I finally cooked this for my boyfriend. It was JUST as we remembered it from Reading Terminal Market in Philly and my (Belgian boyfriend was seriously delighted. We changed nothing except to use baguettes rather than hoagie rolls (no such thing here. Thanks again, you made our week!"

"Thanks, I really enjoyed this. It was quick and easy to make and the perfect "comfort food" on a gloomy day. Add a baguette and it's dinner. I adjusted the ratio to favor more pumpkin and less peanut because I found the peanut overpowering. "
