    About Me

Currently living in northern Sydney (near Hornsby) but planning to move to Lismore in February of 2007. I "temp" for a living when I'm not taking my turn home-schooling our teenage son. Have just found out I'm pregnant and looking forward to the birth in July next year. I enjoy Sunday afternoons with friends, a bottle or three of wine and lots of different foods. Most of my cooking experience has been with the Australian Women's Weekly cookbook range but I'm always on the lookout for new, unusual and tasty recipes. Absolutely love most foods except for PACIFIC OYSTERS - gross!!!

    Favorite Foods

When younger, I preferred vegetarian foods and learnt to cook spicy dishes that the whole family enjoyed, even my sister who swore that she disliked chilli intensely. These days, I find myself cooking very standard meals for the family as I simply don't have the time to daydream about what I'd REALLY like to do, let alone the time to get on with it. However, the Sunday lunches are my chance to let loose and experiment.
