Reviewed Appetizer, Hamburger Cheese Dip - Great for Parties!

"This was easy and amazingly delicious! I tossed the ingredients together quickly before running out the door to a get-together -- I used turkey and 2% Velveeta. When we got there, we plugged in the slow cooker and left for an event. When we came back, we gave it a stir and it was ready to eat. We ate it with scoop tortilla chips. People liked it so..."

Reviewed Cheat n' Eat Vietnamese Chicken Soup

"My boyfriend said he liked it better than the real thing! We garnished with bean sprouts and fresh lime juice in addition to what the recipe called for, and we put some enoki mushrooms in the broth just after simmering. I thought maybe some peanuts would be a nice addition next time too. So easy to make and fun to eat -- this is a real find! Thank ..."

Shared Recipe Chewy Molasses Spice Cookies

"I got this recipe from a coworker after she brought it to an office party. These are like soft, chewy gingersnaps -- all the flavor without the "snap." The recipe can easily be halved, and heaping teaspoons of the spices enhance the flavor."

    Reviewed Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta

"Amazing!! I will definitely make this again, especially given how easy it was to make. I think the cajun seasoning used might be the secret to success -- I used Virginia's Finest Bayou Blackening Spice. I just realized I forgot the parmesan cheese, but we honestly didn't miss it at all. My only suggestion for improvement: double the recipe!"

Reviewed Crock Pot Chicken W/ Black Beans and Cream Cheese...yum!

"This was very easy and very delicious. I took the advice of some other users and after about 7 hours on low I shredded the chicken, mixed it back in to the pot, and then added the block of cream cheese on top. We ate the resulting mixture over rice with some hot sauce and a garnish of cilantro and green onion. Next time I might use a spicier salsa...."

Reviewed Ground Beef Stuffed Green Bell Peppers With Cheese

"These were delish! Like other users, I found that I needed to use more water and cook longer to ensure the rice was done (maybe about twice as much of both); however, I also used risotto, which could have made the difference. Other substitutions included ground chicken instead of beef, and tomato sauce instead of tomatoes (just don't like 'em!). Ba..."

    About Me

I don't always find the time to cook at home, but when I do, I love to try new dishes and techniques! My boyfriend likes to cook too so it's a fun activity for us to do together. Lately I've fallen in love with my slow cooker so I've spent a lot of time on food.com looking for new ways to use it. I've spent years here finding new recipes and am excited to finally join the community.
