    "Absolutely delicious. I have tried quite a number of blue cheese type dressings; this is the best by far. I think my search is over. I did use gorgonzola instead of blue because: #1, I prefer that, and #2, that;s all I had! Thanks so much for posting! Janet"

    About Me

    Thanks to all who have taken the time to try my recipes and who have reviewed them.  I do appreciate your time and efforts. 

    The only recipes I post are those I have made and consider special. No "sounds-good" recipes posted here for safe-keeping!

    I like to cook almost everything, love to bake too.  Have enjoyed baking cookies for my grand-twins weekly for almost 16 years now.  Their favorite?  My Mother's gingersnaps. Chocolate chip cookies are of course next in line, and some fancier types.  My granddaughter really likes my sandwich buns, too!  And our homemade kielbasa is my grandson's favorite.

    I use a recipe software and have a database of maybe 600 of my very favorite.  Also have a huge collection of cookbooks I'm always peeking into.  Not to mention a houseful of other books.  Oh yeah, busy all the time!  Not working...just busy.

    My husband is my inspiration to cook:  He'll try anything, bless him.  And he has a wonderful palate, so I can trust his reactions to something new.  No wonder I really like to cook!
