    About Me

There's nothing better than coming home from a hard days work and cooking! It stimulates all the senses and can be very relaxing. I sure would like to do something in the culinary arts when I retire (many moons from now). I've been to classes, went to culinary boot camps, worked with some caterer friends of mine and made lots of gourmet meals for family and friends.
We are so lucky to have all these wonderful ingredients available to us now, that were hard to get in the past. Trying something new is so easy and very rewarding, not only for great taste but for health as well.
    Besides cooking, my interestes are:
Riding my bicycle - I joined the Lancaster
Bicycling Club and rode my 1st century and
    metric century this summer (2006)
    Photography - I worked for a photography
studio for 5 years a while ago and learned
quite a bit about exposure settings,
    lighting, posing, etc.
Hockey - the Flyers are my team,I go to see
them a couple times a year and watch most
    of their televised games
Yard Work - I have an acre and a half to
maintain and really enjoy getting outside
to keep it looking better than the
    neighbors.

I am a pharmaceutical printer - have been
    for about 25 years now.
