    I made these to go with the Turkey Meatloaf with Fig Catsup from the same episode and they went great together. I'll be making these again with or without the meatloaf. My local market was out of white sweet potatoes so I went ahead and used red which made the finished dish a lovely color.

    My daughter has been making these for years without the baking powder. Sometimes she uses brown sugar and sometimes white. She puts flaked salt on top of some and turbino sugar on others. They're great all ways. Might have to head to the kitchen to make some now."
