New Topic Been absent for awhile in Food Photos Forum

"Things have been busy-busy around here, so I've been absent for awhile. I had a few hours in the middle of the day today, so I restocked the freezer with a couple of loaves of honey whole wheat bread and made the taters for dinner at the same time and just put them in the fridge till dinner time. Grilled pork chops for dinner.

New Topic First rib dinner of the year. in Food Photos Forum

"Happy to have sunshine two days in a row, so I made picnic food two days in a row. I couldn't determine which shot showed off the food, so I put three of them here for you folks to determine which you prefer. As for me and the Mrs, we determined that empty plates with clean bones was the best shot.

New Topic Dinner April4, 2013 in Food Photos Forum

"I had the afternoon off, so I restocked the freezer with sandwich thins, then made dinner of salad, pineapple chicken stir fry and vegetable fried rice. One of our favorite meals. Beautiful stream of sunshine through the back of the house made for a great picture of the sandwich thins.

"(Mods, please consider making this tutorial a "sticky" so new members can access this valuable information easily)

A few years ago I wrote this tutorial to help new bread bakers to understand how professional bakers get repeatable results in their baking. The primary reason for repeatability is that all ingredients are weighed, not measured. Her..."

"Worked in the yard today and I got all the ornamental grasses cut back and burned all the branches. Now all my clothes need to go in the laundry room basket, because they will smell up the bathroom hamper. Phewwwww! While I was doing that I made dinner rolls to take to my brother's home tomorrow for dinner. Then I took Thursday's leftover meatloaf,..."
