    About Me

I am Brazilian, and liveed in Germany during the last four years. Since January we live in Dubai, in the UAE.
When I came from Brazil to Germany, I had a hard time to prepare in there the dishes we were used to cook at home. I didn?t find the ingredients, the measures were different, even the milk, flour or the eggs behaved differently there in Germany. After lots of trials and errors, I started to have success with Brazilian food in our social gatherings. Once up in Dubai? I decided to cook for friends the recipes for special occasions such as birthday parties, weddings, and private parties of course.
We Brazilians, love the kind of food that can be eaten with ours hands and finished in a couple of bites. These are the fabled salgadinhos (savouries) that precede dinner or lunch as appetizers or which can make up the entire menu of a wedding, christening or anniversary celebration. They are often followed by docinhos which are lovingly made little sweets as their name in Portuguese suggests.
