    About Me

    I enjoy trying new things. I learned most of my cooking skills as a young boy watching my Oma (grandmother in German) cook for hours everyday. She has many old German recipes, as well as American recipes with a German twist.

    I know I'll never be a great chef, but I'll always be able to provide good food to those who want it :)

    Favorite Foods

    I enjoy foods that are not mainstream (like rutabaga, eggplant, litchi, etc.), as well as many common foods (such as mushroom dishes, steak, all types of fish, etc.), and many international cuisines (russian, german, japanese, french...). 

    My biggest problem with popular dishes today in the US stem from my newly developed allergy to CORN... That makes it difficult to enjoy mexican food, especially here in Texas!
