    About Me

I live in the high desert of Southern CA. It's beautiful here. At an elev of 3000ft we can get a couple inches of snow - enough to dust everything a pretty white, but not bad enough to be a pain to drive in or have to worry about shoveling. Summers are hot, but dry, usually with a light breeze. Being 45 minutes from the mtns (Lake arrowhead, etc) and 1? hrs from the beach, what more could you ask for?

    Favorite Foods

My fav cookbook would be the one I made from these cooking sites. I love recipes that have a rating/review statis, it's a big help. I cook good, but I don't concider myself a good cook. When I can cook by throwing things together from the frig and don't need a recipe to go by, then I'll concider myself a good cook. I'm working on it.
