    About Me

Hello! I am a newbie through and through. New housewife, mom, cook, and member. I am so grateful for Zaar's site and everyone's recipes, advice, and ratings. It has been so helpful as I venture into the kitchen. I have always loved baking since I love sweets! But I had never had to cook an actual meal until I quit work and became a stay at home mom. I am married to a wonderful Christian man and we have a beautiful baby boy that we both adore. I look forward to homeschooling him and our other future children. Lord willing.
Update; I have now been a member for almost two years and have to say I am definitely improving on my cooking skills thanks to this site. Zaar is wonderful and so are all it's contributors. Can't thank everyone enough for all their recipes and advice!! Oh, and we have another mouth to feed now too! Another precious boy!
I only rate 4&5 star recipes. I don't think it's fair for such a novice to actually disapprove of what could be a wonderful recipe.

    Favorite Foods

My favorite foods are sweets. I'm a fanatic. You would think as a yoga practicioner/instructor I would have more control, but I don't. I figure it's okay though, I sweat out what I put in!! heh! heh! Thank goodness for a high metabolism and the ability to workout! I have at times switched to only whole foods and sugar substitutes but I always go back to my old ways much to my husbands favor!!
I also love the spicy stuff like Thai and Indian but you won't catch me trying to create those wonderful foods in my kitchen, at least not yet!
