"This is a good, quick version of rouladen that we've made many times. As for its being authentic - it doesn't claim to be. It's simply the way Rachael's Anna Maria made hers. Don't let people who've never made this recipe themselves, or who insist that their way is the only way, keep you from trying it.
In any case, it's always come out fine ..."

"This recipe was quite easy to put together, and very tasty1 Differences in how we made it were: 1 instead of baking, we layered it in our large Le Creuset and cooked it on the stovetop, and 2 I had some tan sweet potatoes - the dense not-very-sweet kind - to use up and so used them in place of regular potatoes. The dish came out quite nicely!..."

"Darrell and his sisters told me about this infamous omelet for months before he finally made it for me... it's sort of a family legend for them. : And a well-deserved reputation it has, as it's delicious! I can see why it's popular with kids and college students - it's really easy to make, too."

"I don't bake very often (hardly ever, actually, but when a friend recently had a birthday I gave it a try and made him a cake. Not wanting to make an overly-sweet icing, I chose this cream cheese frosting and I'm *glad* I did! It was easy to make, and delicious! I beat it in my machine for longer than I probably was supposed to and it came out..."

"In an effort 1 to cut down the cost of buying soda at the store, 2 reduce caffeine intake, 3 reduce artificial sweetener intake, and 4 do a bit of research into possible Scandinavian ancient drinks (although they wouldn't have had lemon, I began looking around the internet for barley water recipes. I should've known I'd find a good one right..."

"I picked up a lamb shank at the store a while ago and used this recipe, tweaking here and there for what I had on hand, to make a nice dinner for my husband and I. It was wonderful!! Although it takes a while to prepare, it wasn't at all difficult, and well worth the time taken in the end for a beautiful dinner. Served it with rice, saag aloo, ..."

"This is a wonderful recipe! We're going to be making it again and again. : We did do it a bit differently, but it's the ingredients in the sauce that I feel makes it so delicious. Instead of the skin-on breasts, we used whole skinless. We cut them into bite-sized pieces and browned/simmered them in the sauce instead of baking - so VERY yumm..."

"The recipe doesn't tell you how thickly to slice the chicken - as a result, I sliced mine pretty thinly, and quickly ran out of the coating. I got a few nicely coated and cooked pieces, though, and got an okay photo of them which I've uploaded.I think that using a food processor to finely chop the almonds could be a good idea. If you don't cho..."
