"This was even better than we could imagine! I had a 520g peice of butternut that I halved and roasted (not a pretty thing to stuff but tasted just fine. We both loved the mix of the sweet pumpkin, savoury meat mix and tat yoghurt sauce-it worked so well. This is simple beyond belief and will get made again soon."

"I hate to mark this low, but have to as the pastry wasn't cooked in the time given. It looked lightly browned after 15 minutes, but was really raw when we came to eat the pie. The filling was fantastic and the meringue just perfect. I will make this again, but cook that base longer.

I added in extra sugar as the balsamic was too tart for my liking-next time I would use maybe a of cup balsamic and reduce it down as that makes for a nicer sweet finish that doesn't need any sugar. "I made a half recipe of this but used all the cumin and coriander listed. My refried beans had chilli in them, so I didn't add extra to them, but put some tabasco in the sour cream.
