    About Me

I am a working mom who loves to cook but unfortunately doesn't have a lot of time to do so! This site has helped me so many times I can't count. My favorite cookbook, though, is an older Better Homes and Gardens basic edition that is so "loved" that the spine has fallen apart! I also enjoy using the American Heart Association's "Light and Quick" cookbook.

    Favorite Foods

I love just about anything in the Italian "food group"! Northern or southern, doesn't matter. :-) I'd have to say my specialty meal is chicken basil fettucine, which is a recipe I adapted from a southern California chain restaurant's menu. It took me a few tries, and bless my husband, he was my food sampler until I got it right!
