"I tried these minus the paprika, only because I forgot it! But the bacon drippings make a huge difference in the taste of fried potatoes--verus plain vegetable oil. I have even used the leftover oil from fried chicken-only bacon drippings are better! This is the only way I'll fix fried potatoes! Good one."

"I haven't tried this yet, but I have tried my version, which is like yours and it is a great inexpensive dinner and so easy and tasty. I don't do dairy so I don't use butter for the potatoes. But I also add sweet corn bread squares and what a meal! Thanks."
