    About Me

I AM A MOTHER OF 3 BY BIRTH AND 2 BY MARRIAGE. I LOVE TO COOK AND I AM ALWAYS LOOKING FOR NEW RECIPES. I BELIEVE COOKING IS AN ART AND I WAS RAISED THAT IF YOU DO NOT PUT LOVE INTO YOUR COOKING THEN IT IS JUST FOOD AND ONLY FILLS THE EMPTY STOMACH. BUT IF YOU PUT THE LOVE IN THERE THEN IT WARMS THE HEART!

when i was in the 6th grade i was in 4-h and we had to make homemade biscuits. i won first place in our school with the biscuits i made and i was given the chance to compete statewide where i came in second place in the state of tennessee. that is a very proud accomplishment because my mother taught me how to make them at a very early age and i too have taught my girls how to make them.

    Favorite Foods

I LOVE CHINESE FOOD, AND GOOD OLE SOUTHERN HOME COOKING.

MY FAVORITE DINNER IS, STEWED POTATOES, TURNIP GREENS, SMOKE JOWL BACON, BLACKEYED PEAS, AND CORNBREAD. MMMM, NOW I AM STARVING.
